How to Measure Jewelry for the Perfect Fit

It is always important to take your measurements when ordering jewelry - especially from an online boutique. Ordering from an online boutique eliminates the opportunity to try various sizes on. For this reason, taking your measurements is a crucial step in finding your perfect pieces to have forever. 


To find the perfect measurement you will need a tape measure or a piece of string and a ruler. Find the correct size for each piece of jewelry using the guide below:



Bracelets

  1. Wrap a piece of string or tape measure around your wrist, below the wrist bone (or exactly where you would like the bracelet to sit.
  2. Mark the string when you find the perfect fit.
  3. We recommend adding additional length depending on your desired fit:

½” inch - snug fit

¾” to 1” inch - comfortable fit

1” inch or more - loose fit

* Please note; beaded bracelets will become a bit smaller once the beads are added. Consider this when selecting your size. 

Necklaces

  1. Wrap a piece of string or a tape measure around your neck to determine your size
  2. Adjust the string depending on your preferred length
  3. Select one of the standard necklace chain lengths:

14” inch

16” inch

18” inch

20” inch

*We recommend sizing up to the next standard necklace size, if length cannot be customized. 

Anklets

  1. Wrap a piece of string or measuring tape around the ankle, just below the ankle bone or exactly where you want the anklet to sit
  2. Mark the string when you find the perfect fit.
  3. We recommend adding an additional ¼” inch to ½” inch, depending on your desired fit.
*Please note; beaded anklets will become a bit smaller once the beads are added. Consider this when selecting your size. 

 

Rings

  1. Wrap a piece of string or tape measure around your finger, or where you would like the ring to sit.
  2. Mark the string when you find the perfect fit.
  3. Use the guide below to determine your correct size:

49.2mm = US 5 / EU 49

51.8mm = US 6 / EU 51

54.5mm = US 7 / EU 55

56.9mm = US 8 /  EU 57
